LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A 17-year-old boy suspected of taking pictures a 14-year-old boy Dec. 16 inside a cellular residence within the 300 block of Candlelight Plaza turned himself in to police Monday afternoon on the Sheriff’s Office. Tippecanoe County.
On Dec. 16, the 17-year-old ran away after the taking pictures contained in the cellular residence on West Lafayette, based on sheriff’s workplace experiences.
The teen was booked right into a juvenile detention heart in one other county on Monday. He is suspected of housebreaking leading to severe bodily harm, aggravated battery with a lethal weapon, intimidation with a lethal weapon, intimidation and harmful possession of a firearm, based on the sheriff’s workplace.

After the taking pictures, the 14-year-old boy was taken to Riley’s Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. A member of the family informed the Journal & Courier final month that the boy has undergone two surgical procedures.
The 14-year-old boy is in steady situation, the sheriff’s workplace stated Thursday.
