Last week, two United Airlines passengers had been hospitalized after the airplane needed to immediately sluggish its descent towards San Francisco International Airport to keep away from one other airplane, the airline stated.
The incident aboard United Flight 2428 occurred on Sept. 19 whereas the flight was departing from Newark, N.J., the airline informed Fox News Digital in an announcement launched Thursday morning.
According to the airline, the airplane started its descent with the seat belt mounted when the pilots carried out the maneuver “to account for one more plane at a decrease altitude.”

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed in an announcement to Fox News Digital that the company is investigating the crash.
“United Airlines Flight 2428 responded to an onboard advisory that occurred at roughly 12:45 p.m. native time on Thursday, September 19, within the Oakland Air Traffic Control airspace that one other plane was close by,” the FAA stated. “The United flight landed safely at San Francisco International Airport.”
