“The bells of Notre-Dame are ringing once more,” French President Emmanuel Macron stated in the course of the reopening ceremony of the world-famous Paris cathedral.
The medieval cathedral had been closed since a serious hearth ravaged it in 2019, spreading to the roof and collapsing the spire.
