DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Police are attempting to determine who tied a bulldog inside a rubbish bag and deserted it in Des Moines.
The emaciated canine was discovered Tuesday afternoon close to a railway viaduct with its head protruding from a black plastic rubbish bag. The canine could not stroll as a result of the bag was taped shut.
Police spokesman Sgt. Paul Parizek stated in a press release that the person who discovered the canine stated the bag caught his consideration as a result of it gave the impression to be transferring.

Parizek stated Saturday that the canine is slowly recovering. When the canine was discovered, he weighed solely about 10 kilograms, in line with the veterinary workers caring for him.
Investigators hope somebody will acknowledge the canine and assist make them whoever discarded it. Police stated the canine’s ears have been cropped, suggesting it obtained veterinary care earlier in its life.
