Third baseman Alex Bregman underwent surgical procedure to take away a bone chip from his proper elbow.
Agent Scott Boras revealed the operation throughout a press convention Wednesday on the normal managers conferences.
“He’s had his process. He’ll be again right here in a couple of weeks, so he is been by that entire course of,” Boras stated.
The Houston Astros, Bregman’s former group, stated all particulars should come from Boras.
Bregman turned a free agent final Thursday after the expiration of a five-year, $100 million deal agreed to in March 2019 that coated 2020-24. The 30-year-old has hit .260 with 26 homers and 75 RBIs and has a profession common of .272 with 191 homers and 663 RBIs in 9 huge league seasons, all with the Astros.
Boras stated Bregman is open to shifting to second base. The two-time All-Star has performed third completely since 2020.
