A boy has been charged with tried homicide and possession of a bladed object after a 13-year-old lady was stabbed, police stated.
The teenager was found with stab wounds and lacerations to her neck, stomach, chest and again close to the A63 in Hessle at round 0650 GMT on Friday.
The 14-year-old boy was taken into custody to look at Hull Magistrates Court on Monday.
Six youngsters have been arrested on suspicion of tried homicide in a close-by wooded space in reference to the incident.
Three boys, aged 15, 16 and 17, and two ladies, aged 14 and 15, have been launched on bail.
