Chris Appleton has spoken about popping out as homosexual later in life – and the way he needed to battle to let go of the “guilt” and “disgrace” surrounding his sexuality.
“I believe popping out later in life – I used to be 26 – was extremely troublesome as a result of I had two youngsters, I had a companion who I’d been with for 9 years, I assumed I had all of it found out.
