Danny Wolf completed with season-highs of 21 factors and 13 rebounds to guide Michigan to an 85-74 victory over Southern California on Saturday night time.
Wolf made 9 of 12 pictures with two 3-pointers in his seventh double-double this season for the Wolverines (11-3, 3-0 Big Ten Conference). He added seven assists and blocked a career-high six pictures.
Tre Donaldson and Nimari Burnett scored 16 objectives apiece for Michigan, with Donaldson including six assists. Roddy Gayle Jr. scored 12 factors and Vladislav Goldin scored 11.
Desmond Claude and Wesley Yates III each scored 19 objectives to guide the Trojans (9-5, 1-2). Claude added seven rebounds. Kevin Patton Jr. scored 14 factors and Saint Thomas scored 10.
Burnett scored 13 factors, Donaldson scored 12 and the pair mixed to make 7 of 8 from 3-point vary as Michigan took a 42-38 lead into halftime.
Claude buried a shot for USC early within the second half, however Wolf scored 4 baskets and his 7-foot associate Goldin had a three-point play and a dunk because the pair did all of the scoring in a Michigan’s 13-0 run for a 55-40 lead with 16 minutes left.

The Trojans rallied to take a 65-63 lead on a layup by Patton with 7:33 remaining. Gayle scored six objectives in a 10-0 run and Michigan led 73-65 with 5:09 left. USC scored six straight objectives, however Goldin and Wolf scored back-to-back baskets in a 10-0 run to wrap up the victory.
The colleges hadn’t performed one another since Dec. 27, 1981: a 77-63 win for the Trojans within the Holiday Classic on the LA Sports Arena.
Michigan stays in Los Angeles to play No. 15 UCLA on Tuesday. USC travels to play Indiana on Wednesday.
