Jamiya Neal’s 19 factors helped Creighton defeat UNLV 83-65 on Saturday night time.
Neal had 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 blocks for the Bluejays (7-3). Steven Ashworth added 17 factors plus seven assists. Isaac Traudt had 15 factors and shot 5-of-8, together with 5-of-7 from past the arc.
The Runnin’ Rebels (4-4) had been led in scoring by Jailen Bedford, who completed with 20 factors and three steals. Dedan Thomas Jr. added 18 factors for UNLV. Julian Rishwain completed with 10 factors and two steals.
Creighton took the lead with 18:48 left within the first half and did not surrender. The rating was 39-27 at halftime, with Neal accumulating 10 factors. Creighton prolonged its result in 49-27 within the second half, fueled by a 10-0 run. Ashworth scored a team-high 10 factors within the second half as his staff closed out the victory.
