KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines has grounded its new Airbus A330neo jet simply days after its maiden flight as a consequence of technical issues, native media reported, one other operational setback for the nationwide airline.

“The root trigger is coming from the manufacturing facility and is affecting the repute and model of Malaysia Airlines,” chief govt Izham Ismail advised the New Straits Times on Sunday (Dec 22).
