North Las Vegas police are trying to find an “extraordinarily harmful” armed teenager accused of taking pictures and killing a person

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — North Las Vegas police are trying to find an armed and “extraordinarily harmful” teenager accused of taking pictures and killing a person.

Around 9 a.m. Sunday, North Las Vegas police responded to a report of a taking pictures at an house within the 2900 block of East Centennial Parkway close to North Pecos Road.

When officers arrived, they discovered a person, later recognized by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Correy Dennis, 33, affected by an obvious gunshot wound to the abdomen space. He was later pronounced lifeless.

The suspect left the scene earlier than officers arrived. On Tuesday, police recognized the suspect as 16-year-old Arnaz Jones.

Jones is described as a 16-year-old black boy, with a medium-length afro with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 ft 10 inches tall and weighs 140 kilos. He was final seen sporting a grey sweatshirt with purple, black and white writing on the back and front.

Investigators imagine Jones is armed and “extraordinarily” harmful. Anyone who sees Jones mustn’t method him and will name 911 instantly.

Police stated the taking pictures was the results of a disagreement between Dennis and Jones.
