Copenhagen (Reuters) -The United States is not going to get Greenland, stated Prime Minister Jens -Frederik Nielsen on Sunday in a Facebook publish in response to Donald Trump’s statements that wishes to take management of the huge Arctic nation.
“President Trump says that the United States are getting Greenland. Let me be clear: the United States is not going to perceive it. We don’t belong to anybody else. We decide our future,” Nielsen stated within the publish on social media.
Trump on Saturday informed the NBC News that “completely” he had actual conversations on the annexation of the Semi-autonomous Danish territory.
“We could have Greenland. Yes, 100%,” stated Trump, in accordance with the NBC.
