Footage launched by Russia’s Southern Transport Prosecutor’s Office reveals a Russian oil tanker damaged in half and sinking in the course of a heavy storm, with streaks of oil seen within the water.
The ship is one in every of two Russian ships with 29 crew members on board that have been severely broken, Russian Black Sea authorities stated.
At least one crew member was reportedly killed. The second ship is alleged to have drifted away after sustaining injury.
The accident occurred within the Kerch Strait, which separates Russia from Crimea, the Ukrainian peninsula illegally annexed by Moscow in 2014.
