CANTON – A 40-year-old metropolis resident was shot within the thigh early Saturday morning on the All Day Cafe, 1836 Maple Ave. NE.
Police have charged a 29-year-old Warren man with discharging a firearm on or close to prohibited premises, having weapons disabled and two counts of felonious assault.
The second felonious assault cost alleges the suspect fired a gun at a 28-year-old Plain Township man.
The defendant was prohibited from utilizing firearms because of aggravated theft and kidnapping convictions in a 2013 Stark County case.
The capturing on the bar was reported at 1:59 p.m
